Woodlands Country House dating from 1836, is a charming Georgian period residence set amongst acres of stunning gardens and mature woodlands. It has for many years been a hugely popular retreat for visitors to the north Wexford area both nationally and internationally.

First opened as a luxury accommodation by John and Philomena O’Sullivan in the 1960’s, and now under the management of their son Cathal and his wife Roisin, it has over the years established a reputation for excellence in its idyllic yet most accessible location.

Less than a 5 minute drive from the M11 motorway and a mere 40mins drive from South Dublin it is also easily accessible to Dublin Airport and Rosslare Europort. Adjacent to the picturesque village of Killanerin, it is also only a 6 or 7 minute drive from the vibrant town of Gorey with its fantastic range of restaurants, pubs and destination boutique shopping.

Woodlands Country House offers a wonderfully relaxing environment where one can enjoy the tranquillity of the magnificent gardens, stroll through their private woodland setting and sit by the picturesque stream which meanders through the property, and in times gone by, powered a mill where local farmers brought their grain.

One can also access one over hundred acres of forest trials adjacent to the property including a stunning picturesque walk to Wexford Lavander Farm and Killanerin with its village pub and café just a short stroll either by footpath or forest trial. Taxis to nearby Gorey are also readily available.
